Trainers: Jeff Lockwood
Jeff
Lockwood and his wife Joanne are the owners of Bella Cavalli Farms. Jeff
and his staff handle colt starting, problem solving, ground manner,
trailing, to a finished horse.
He specializes in the western seated disciplines and recreational riding techniques for the beginners to the more advanced disciplines of reining, working cow horse and cutting for those so interested. His present students range in age from 5 to 68 and Jeff believes that age is no barrier when learning horsemanship.
Through the years Jeff has studied the various riding disciplines and now he incorporates the best of each into his teaching technique. His basic belief and the foundation of his teaching is that you must learn how a horse moves and then match yours with theirs…and this he feels is the most important thing to learn.
Although Jeff works with all ages, he is particularly fond of his youngest students and feels that connecting with them and then watching them grow as a rider is quite inspirational.
He is quick to tell you that you ride horses for ENJOYMENT and he encourages all of his students to have fun and relax…then you and your horse will enjoy it!
